Wednesday was Bubba's 2nd Birthday, it was also the day Andy came
home from the hospital. Nana decorated the house while Bubba was napping.
Meanwhile I picked Andy up from the hospital, filled his pain pill
prescription, picked up some balloons and Bubba's Cars ice cream cake. We had
toyed with the idea of me making Bubba a Cars cake but with everything else
going on, we knew that wasn't the wisest decision.
It took a little warming up to, but Bubba finally decided that he liked the
decorations. When he first saw them he cried. As for his
cake, he liked poking it and licking the frosting/ice cream off of his fingers.
We tried giving him a slice of cake and he wouldn't touch it. He loved his
presents though. He got a play kitchen, a wagon, some Play-doh, a Car's Mac
truck and a recycling truck. I'd say he was spoiled! He loves his new toys so
much he won't put them down.
It is hard to believe that it has been two years since Bubba has been born.
It is amazing how quickly time passes. We are so grateful that he is a part of
our family. Our lives wouldn't be complete without him!
At 2 years old, Bubba loves cars, trucks and tractors. He like to do
whatever Andy or I am doing whether that be shaving, putting on makeup or
cleaning the floors. He has a fun loving and sweet disposition about him. He
just recently started talking, we are really excited about this. He typically
sleeps 12 hours a night and take one 2-3 hour nap each day. We sure love our
little Bug!
