Picking Berries

Berry season is in full swing right now! I can't believe the blackberries are already ripe, they came on about a month early. The other night we decided to go and pick some after work. On the way out the door, I put my bucket on my head. Andy thought it was funny and he tried to put the bucket on his head but it wouldn't fit...hehe. We have small heads in my family.

We came away with four pounds of berries in about a half an hour. We still need to pick a lot more for smoothies and jam but it was a start.
